That polar curve was encompassing DFW. Glad it missed your blooms. So pretty.

The freeze line did come pretty close. An hour away on the other side of Houston hit freezing, and some below. I'm a few blocks from the bay, and the lowest we got was 35 for a few nights. Its warm today, almost 70 right now. I should be able to post more pictures soon, since there isn't another freeze warning at least through thanksgiving. Glad to cheer people up with flowers!

Oh, lol, that's Charlie. He patrols the perimeter of the yard, so when we built our raised beds, I set them a few feet away from the fence so that he could get back there without bulldozing through my plants. It's worked out really well!

Brittie we had one night of freezing in the Beaumont area, about a hour south of Houston but it didn't bother my roses. I still have blooms too! Love your Cupcake, Osiana and I. Farrah. And that Charlie is a handsome fella too!

I thank you for sharing your photo of the lovely Impératrice Farah. I always admire the Delbard roses, but I prefer fragrance. Your Farah makes a brilliant show, though.

Everyone ought to have such a cheerful Charlie patrolling their perimeters!
