| I really really love this rose right now. How often do you see a light colored bloom unfried and uneaten by thrips? I love the shades of pink, cream and peach in it too.

Masha, I am with you and the other commenters about this rose. She is really, really beautiful. Maybe another must have rose?! I noticed lately that a lot of the Meilland roses seem to do exceptionally well in California. My favorite HT Frederic Mistral is also bred by Meilland and a real winner so far in my garden. Thanks for posting and tempting me to get another rose that will increase my pot ghetto ;-)! Christina

Thank you, everybody! Judy, I have had her for less than a year. It appears she will be a tall HT-type shrub, maybe 6'? She does have fragrance to my nose, kind of the same as Yves Piaget (her daddy:-)), but not as strong. She has long stems and long-lasting blooms, a good cutting rose. Masha

Thanks Masha! I will definitely keep this beauty in mind. I luuuuv the shot with the rain drops. Judy

Masha, I also have this rose because I wanted a rose that I thought would do well as a cut rose and that had a somewhat old rose look. Apparently it is supposed to get tall, but my bush, although fairly tall, is narrow and spindly. Does yours have a fuller growth habit? I noticed the same thing on my Yves Piaget, which does grow in less light. Masha

Masha, did thrips not attck Classic Woman in Spring, either? I didn't get it when it came out because I thought the color would attract thrips, although I love the Romanticas.

Thank you, Judy. Ingrid, you are right, it is tall and narrow so far, although mine seems to have a few more leaves than YP. Snowheather, I don't presume it will be immune to thrips, I was just saying it is nice to enjoy perfect blooms in the fall with cooler temperatures and thrips gone. I only bought her in summer, and the bloom edges got fried quickly. The color was pure white back then too. We'll see what thrips will do next year:-) Masha
