| Guess I'll have to break this up into two posts... Still got quite a lot blooming. It's finally beginning to get colder now tho, so I expect they will be slowing down. Here's what was blooming this weekend: AVE MARIA BLUE PARFUM BOLSHOI BROWN VELVET COURTOISE ELLE GINGER ROGERS GRIMALDI HAROLD MACMILLAN HENRIETTA BARNETT ILSE JUDY GARLAND KENTUCKY DERBY KORBASTA - gotta be the biggest bloom ever... about 6" MAGMA MEMORIAL DAY And here's my next florist rose to try rooting with the "burrito method": BLUSH I have 18 (out of 24) cuttings of the florist rose SWEETNESS that calloused and got potted up last weekend. Just waiting to see growth and signs that they are now producing roots. Looking good so far! |

| Beth - They are all lovely. I especially like Ave Mara, Elle, Magna and Memorial Day. |
| I always like your posts , Beth; there's usually an old favourite or two, with plenty of new ones to go check out on HMF to add to the ever expanding "would that work for me" list. Not to mention the stripeys! |
| Great blooms Beth! Been cold here since mid-latter October and blooms have shriveled & stopped. So nice to see blooms! :-) |
| After all this time, you still have a few surprises. Love the Ave Maria and COURTOISE . |
| COURTOISE has caught my eye too. Love the sweet spiral on ILSE. |
| Congrats on doing the cuttings. I keep promising myself to do that with 'Lagerfeld' -- he's become such an octopus. |

| Oh those are ALL lovely! I'm really surprised by how much I like your Brown Velvet. So interesting - the color. I like, I like! Kentucky Derby, Ave Maria and Blush have really caught my eye too. Is Kentucky Derby fragrant? It looks very fragrant. Lovely unique roses as always. :) Carol |

| You always post a beautiful show, Beth! |
| They are all lovely, but I especially like that pic of Elle. Kate |

| OMG- You must have a huge garden- I can't believe I'm seeing a perfect bloom for Memorial Day. Most people say the blooms ball up. Lovely roses. |
| More gorgeous blooms that are new to me. I love the delicate coloring of the huge Korbasta, and the unusual color of Brown Velvet. Is Sweetness the pinkish lavender that J&P brought out a few years back? I wish they wouldn't duplicate names for florists' roses (like the Mother of Pearl I was mixed up about). But, I enjoyed every one of your lovely pics--thanks! Diane |
