Thank you for the n.ice comments, she loves photography and horses mostly She's a great young lady and I want to be encouraging to her in any way I can. Lesley, Royal William is one of those roses you don't hear much about, I've had mine for several years and like it a lot. It never has an over abundance of blooms, but it has been very dependable and the red coloring is so lovely, it always has that velvety look I love. I'm surprised it's not more widely grown.

I looked up Reimer Kordes on HMF and every rose of his I have grown has been a really good one,. Beautiful shot of a stunning rose. And here I thought Royal William was hybridized by an English company. I can understand your pride in your granddaughter's photographic abilities. I don't even own a camera, and my 15 year old g-daughter has been my "chief" photographer for two years now. She even put together a little album with comments for my recent birthday.
