Oh, that's lovely! I love that rose form. Does cl. America get a lot of flowers?

The first year it grew like crazy. It was also very floriferous. This growing season, it was a bit neglected, and what I found to be odd is, it lost a lot of its leaves, about half, but still had a decent amount of lovely flowers. When it is cared for it can be a healthy blooming machine. I gave it a little t.l.c. at the end of summer and it is re-bounding.

It is a salmony pink, but never just "pink" if that makes any sense.

I had to see 'America' in person to understand why its color is hard to describe..Would coral brick work? I think it's a stunning climber. Nice picture.

HMF has it described as a salmon pink. I gave up on describing the color definitively as it does change. When it is hot the color seems softer but never faded.
