Holiday blooms

Its been a long Fall season here with many roses putting out flushes even now in mid-December.

I thought I would cut a sampling of them to bring indoors.
Here are three small vases I put on our dining room table.

If you are interested here are the rose varieties (starting from the bottom left): Vase on left - MOLINEUX, (2) FIRST AND F0REMOST, Rear vase - IRRESISTIBLE, YELLOW JACKET, JOY, DR. JOHN DICKMAN, Vase on right - DR. JOHN DICKMAN, (2) LINDSAY'S ROSE, YELLOW JACKET.

Gorgeous- I don't believe I've seen a true yellow rose such as yellow jacket. Is it fragrant and does it stay yellow through the life of the rose itself? Thx for sharing in winter!

Fresh rose bouquets this time of year? Almost mind-boggling to those of us shivering in the Midwest! : )

Those are some gorgeous yellows!!! I've recently discovered that I really like yellow roses - and yours are soooo vibrant. :)

Yes, I am becoming an avid fan of yellow roses -- I think I have over a dozen kinds right now.

Surya -- YELLOW JACKET is a wonderful patio-shrub type rose.
The color stays deep yellow on each bloom for several days but does fade to a lighter yellow.

I do propagate it so if you want a rooted cutting let me know and I should have some next growing season.
