U.P.O.'s Unidentified Pretty Objects

Here's all my unknown beauties that I wish to share with all of you. They're interestingly the only ones that are currently blooming in my garden too.

This one's the only fully double rose I have. It could be a Tea or China and I suspect it to be the Laos form of Hume's Blush.

The most unique rose in my garden. It has beautiful foliage and quite some mossing on it. It's very generous with pollen too!

This miniature proliferates during hotter days. I quite like the proliferation as it reminds me of viridiflora and makes a nice contrast of green against soft blush pink, giving this rose a certain uniqueness to it. Others may find it appalling but I don't.

The most fragrant yet most delicate rose I have. Its pink petals fall off cleanly with the slightest brush but they miraculously don't blow off in the wind! I suspect this Tea to be Old Blush.

very pretty roses. I think mine are frozen too but not under any snow.we seldom get snow here, but the weather report is saying a light winter mix next Saturday. The forecast will probably be changed a few times before then, altho, its about time for us to get another ice storm and snow, its been a few years since we had one.I will take snow any day, other then the ice storms...

Your top double rose has a wonderful creaminess about it on my monitor. Lovely.

@ Jim & Jean
And that's why I love the tropics. No snow, though it does get pretty humid. It's been foggy here for the past few days. I'm glad I could show you some roses in your winter.

@ Iris
I went up this morning to check on it and it greeted me with a sweet creamy scent too! It's actually a blend of cream, blush, and white. It gets a deeper pink shade as its flowers mature.

That first unknown is truly lovely!

They are all interesting, each in its own way. How did you end up with so many unknowns?

@ Kate.

All my roses start out as Unknowns. You see, the people here are usually unaware of the classes of roses and even their names. They're usually sold under a common name as "Valentine Roses" or "American Roses" and under those names different colors and classes appear. The second white one was called a "Valentine Rose" and along with it were other roses of the same name that were Red chinas, and Pink HTs.

It's quite hard to identify them, so the Rose ID forum is my most extensively used forum here.. By far only two of my roses have been correctly identified; Center Gold, and Olympiad. The others are still in the dark but their possible names have been narrowed down to a small list. The ones here are ones I have totally no leads on.
