| It is a very striking rose and your photos are lovely! If you're pruning now for spring when do you usually get your first blooms? I won't see any more here until next May at the earliest. |

| I usually prune on New Years day every year. Only because that's when my sister does it and she has beautiful roses. I get my first blumes in late March or so. |

| Well, if I'm very lucky, I might get a bloom in March on one of my new batch of seedlings in the basement, lol. But otherwise I prune the first week of April and usually Memorial Day weekend is when I get my first blooms outside. |

| When I lived in FL I always pruned the first week of January. Up here it's 2nd or 3rd week of March. I kind of like the winter slow down up here. In Fl if you wanted too, you could start stagger pruning in Nov., stretch it out over a couple of months and have blooms all year long. I know several people all over FL that do that. |
