Thank you Jim and Carol. Carol - Buxom Beauty seems to be a healthy rose, mine had several flushes and in the cooler weather the blooms are huge. The fragrance can be intoxicating. It is a good rose to bring in, because it lasts good indoors. The bush doesn't get very big the first year, mine didn't anyway. Overall I think it is a good rose.

Nice blooms.
Nice of you to post your photos, in time of "famine".
I hope more members post photos and comments on how they performed.

The ads are so annoying though........ :>(

Beautiful! I finally broke down and ordered a grafted one from Palatine. It arrived a week or two ago. I have an own root one I got (probably) from Heirloom several yrs ago, and it's done absolutely nothing! I keep hoping it will grow, but it doesn't. So now I got a new one that should do something this time! If it looks that beautiful I'll be very happy!!

I just ordered a second one from Palatine!!! This is a beautiful rose. It grows 8 feet high in my garden. I will prune it down more this coming year. Your pictures are lovely! lesley

Thank you Lesley - I had no idea Buxom Beauty could get that tall. Mine bloomed good this year, but it never got very big at all and it is in a bed where some of the other roses are very vigorous. Maybe it will take off next year.
