Wow- what a difference in color! I truly love the mid summer pic though cause it has some touches of yellow in there. Is it highly fragrant at different times too? Thx for posting and yes, keep them coming:-)

Beautiful roses and photos, Sara and a great comparison.

All the color changes are what I most enjoy about watching my roses through the season. Some of them are hardly recognizable from June to September. Also if you like that chameleon habit look for roses that are called "phototropic" like Double Delight. They can make dramatic changes in a matter of a few hours!

I love the July color. I especially like roses that do have color adj. with the temperatures. I was so annoyed when 'Colette' first bloomed very apricot. No pink tones at all. Now she is sometimes pink, sometimes blended peachy
pink.

I've been reading up again on metering in cameras. I think that's the problem with the Sony point and shoot I've been using. Can't find spot metering in the menu which is what I used on my old Olympus. I think I get more accurate color using it. Yipee. The Canon G9 I just bought from Craigs List has spot metering. Of course the arctic freezes we have had for a week have done in every bloom!
