The pruning hasn't happened yet and so here are the late season roses that formed in the rainy cool days we just had here in So. CA
The first rose is High Society from an archway.

Thanks for visiting. I hope you saw roses you had not seen before. These looked pretty good for rainy weather roses. Everybody have a good holiday and I leave you with this picture of Mutabilis which is always blooming. I think it never ever stops. There are some whimsical holiday themed gardening boots on the other side by the fountain with the gardener's names on them decked out with tinsel and ornaments.

What a lovely treat to see all those roses in bloom at the end of December.

Most of them are new to me.

Thank you for sharing.

Thanks so much, kittymoonbeam. It's cold, rainy, and dreary here, but your pix definitely lifted the pall ;)

Very nice to see roses blooming away in other parts of the country :) I really like Golden Fairy Tale; its one that's always on my shortlist, but has never made the cut (I have have such bad BS with yellows).

I grow Permenant Wave, and its a very interesting rose and quite a bloom machine. Its also suppossed to root very easily, although I've never tried to root it. Even the buds have little curls.

I enjoyed the Xmas tour. We don't have roses in December here in Kansas, so that was quite a treat. I especially love that Permanent Wave--what frilly petals. Wish I had room for another rose--I'd get it. (Any nonperformers in my garden are forewarned!)
