    Cecil Bruner - cropped so you can see its petiteness. I tried drying buds in silica gel. They turned an ugly greyish pink :-(

    Cherish - lovely form (Warriner '80 - florib.) but color didn't play well in my garden.

    Colette - Meilland '94. short Cl. being unusually pink instead of apricot pink. Very healthy. Relaxed growth pattern. A fav.

    I love the C roses. Beth, yours are all lovely, I especially love Christin Cira and Country Lady. I want Charles DeGaulle so badly, tried to order it early, but they were already sold out, maybe next year. Iris - You have some pretty ones too. Love your Colette every time I see it, that's another one I would love to have.

    My first one is
    CHRYSLER IMPERIAL

    C, must be the most popular letter from the alphabet to name roses.
    What a marvelous collection.
    Happy New Year everyone!

    Lovely Cs everyone! I need to take a closer look at some of these to purchase. Carding Mill might just be the pink DA I've been looking for and Cecil and Collette are always so pretty in pictures.

    I only have two Cs to offer

    Cinnamon Dolce
    {{gwi:305324}}

    And Country Music

    I do have a mystery rose that might be Chrysler Imperial or Charlotte Armstrong. No one seems to know for sure.

    Beth, IâÂÂm with Sara-Annâ¦LOVE that Charles de Gaulle! Also, love the coloring of SeilâÂÂs Cinnamon Dolce and Iris GalâÂÂs Chicago Peace. Kentucky RoseâÂÂs Crystal Palace looks like porcelain, and KathyâÂÂs Crowd Pleaser and Christopher Marlowe are sumptuous! Sara-Ann, your Chi Ching is such a pretty yellow and such a sweet looking bloom.

    I didnâÂÂt realize how many CâÂÂs I had.

    I planted Cafe and Chocolate Ripples this fall but they will have to wait for next year's alphabet thread. For now, I've got only one to share:

    There are so many beautiful C Roses. I keep seeing roses I would love to have. Love your Cinnamon Dolce Seil.. Kentucky Rose, your Crystal Palace and Conundrum are so pretty. Pat and Kathy, you both have too many to name, but I love your pictures of Cherry Parfait, gorgeous!

    So many more gorgeous C's. Peonies and puppies, nothing better to go with roses. Forgot one..............

    Cheshire Life - Fryer'72, HT, (stunning, not mine)

    Swooning over SO many C's but that Caldwell Pink is just too amazing! I'd buy it in a minute . . . and I have no room left.

    Here's Ch-Ching after recovering from losing many, many branches from hail. It had soooooo many buds on them - maybe 40 - most of them gone. But, it's a wonderful rose.

    Beautiful pics everybody! I'm really enjoying the CHICAGO PEACE ones. Had to get a new one. My old one died a long time ago and the replacement one I got a few yrs ago has never done anything. I miss having it so hopefully the new bagged bareroot one my son got me will finally bloom for me!

    Canadian Carol ~~ wow on your 'Betty White'. She has a special place in my favorites list. Eager to see how 'Carole Bouquet' does. Whether she lasts when cut. She is gorgeous.

    I too am enjoying all the Chicago Peace pics. Used to grow it years ago--would almost be tempted to get it again except I have no space left. It really is a breath-taker, isn't it!

    I'll throw a few of mine in here also. The first one is Cabaret which can be quite variable in color.

    {{gwi:2131316}}

    The next one is a trio of blooms on Crescendo that almost makes a cycle of bloom trio.

    {{gwi:2131317}}

    The next one is one from Vintage Gardens that you may or may not be able to find any more. It is Chief Seattle.

    {{gwi:2131318}}

    The next one is one of the French import roses I got from Vintage Gardens. It is Clotilde Corau. It actually resembles Tropicana. It has done reasonably well so far.

    {{gwi:2131319}}

    Next is my entry for Carding Mill. This is one of the better Austins in my garden.

    {{gwi:2131320}}

    Next is the lanky and floppy Claire Austin which actually does bloom quite well for me. The flowers, however, do not last very long.

    {{gwi:2131321}}

    The next one is a rare one also from the Vintage Gardens collection that may never be offered anywhere again. It is Candleglow. It is one of those that goes from bud to full open in less than an hour. Partial open stage is very fleeting.

    {{gwi:2131322}}

    The next one is one originally from Cliff Orent's collection, Clodagh McGredy. It doesn't have lots of flowers, but what it does have is nice. They open rather quickly also.

    {{gwi:2131323}}

    The last one is one of my best Austins. It took at least 3 years to really get going, but it does very well for me. It is the venerable Crocus Rose.

    {{gwi:2131324}}

    I hope you will like these.
