I had the same questions so I ordered one. I guess we will see. The part that sold me was that it was described as non-fading. In our summers that's important. I don't want to be deadheading faded blooms every day in hundred degree heat....Maryl

Maryl, The non-fading part is one of the things that interested me and the picture. Love the color.

I'm hoping it turns out to be that deep hot pink too. As the description says the blooms are 3 inches and that makes them about as big as some of the Floribundas and OGR's I've grown. So a 4 foot (max ht here) shrub with hot pink non-fading 3" blooms sounds pretty good to me. Of course if they open in the blink of an eye, then I'm back to having to deadhead in the heat. Maybe we will get lucky and they will hold form for a few days in summer (and not disease itself to death the rest of the season). I'd like to say to you to go for it. We'll compare notes on what saps we were for falling for a pretty picture next fall -lol.....Maryl
