Old Tea Type Minis?

Are there any Miniature roses whose blooms nod like some of the old Teas? My favorite mini is Baby Darling...such perfect little apricot Tea type blooms.

So far I'm thinking of ordering these. Do you think they would do well in North Texas? Our summers are very hot and humid at times.

Other than Baby Darling I'm not familiar with the ones you listed, sorry. I have four that are full like what you're asking about, I like those also. Lavender Jewel, Lavender Crystal, Buttermint and Winter Magic. All make a good cut rose, all grow vigorously and are repeat bloomers and or bloom in flushes repeatedly. They all also grow to 12 to 18" tall. I hope someone answers your questions, I have alot of hot sun and heat here but not humidity. These four all like the heat and sun. Good luck and have fun looking, I think that's the best part and then trying to make your mind up with all the choices out there...

I found Fair Molly on Uncommon Rose. Put it in a partial shade place and it did nothing. Rescued it and put it in bright sun-- wow! Very vigorous, floriferous little white roses on multi-branches with fast repeat. I'm in southern California so can't vouch for what humidity would do but am ordering another one as soon as Uncommon Rose is ready to take orders.

Thanks, Leslie and Rebekah. Leslie, I would love to have Winter Magic. Do you know who has it?

Me too, Rebekah...can't wait til they open up. I will make sure Fair Molly has a sunny spot.

Try John's Miniature Roses for Winter Magic.

Thanks, Diane. Their prices look pretty good, too.

Karen, if it's not there it's at sequoianursery.biz where I got mine. Les

Thanks, Les. Surely one of them will have it.

Oh, Irresistable doesn't nod, it has very upright stems.

Thanks, Diane. I may not get Irresistible after all. Am wanting a lower growing bushy type and I gather that it's more upright and narrow. Do you grow Softee? The pictures on HMF are very pretty.
