Miniflora expectations
I had a pair of roses planted under my mailbox that recently died of... well... of neglect. I've spent the last two years finishing a basement during which time I didn't put much care into my roses. But now that the basement is finished, it's time to take care of the garden.
On the good side, it gives me a chance to replace these roses that were too tall "under" a mailbox (because they grew to 5' or 6' in height) to something a little smaller.
I didn't want miniature roses because I personally haven't liked the small flowers I've gotten from the minis I've had before. So I ordered a pair of miniflora: Southern Peach (http://www.edmundsroses.com/dp.asp?pID=24787) and Smart & Sassy (http://www.edmundsroses.com/dp.asp?pID=24786) because they were listed as 2' tall plants.
Well I've never even heard of a "miniflora" before (again, I bought them for the size). So I was looking for some input on what I might expect from these roses?
