Miniature Roses

How deep are your mini roots?

I've got a house that has not only my drainfield but also my neighbor's in my back yard. I know where the lines are, and they are about 3' apart and about a foot deep. I was thinking it might be possible to put some mini roses centered between the drain lines, but I don't want long roots clogging up the pipes.

Does anyone have a feel for how extensive the rootball is on the minis?

In my experience the root ball of own-root minis is not that big and shouldn't cause you a problem. Some of the newer, more vigorous Mini-Floras might get bigger, but true miniatures on their own roots should not cause you a problem.
