Palatine Roses in Canada is budding mini's onto R.Multiflora rootstock!! This is great news for those of us who like their roses budded to a vigourous rootstock like Multiflora.

I just think that budded roses no matter the variety--hybrid tea, grandiflora, floribunda, climber, and even mini's--grow better than own root bushes. RIght now Palatine only offers 16 mini's but Rachel at Palatine tells me that they will be expanding their offerings of budded mini's and will also try to start providing mini-flora's on rootstock as well.

Give them a try and I think you will like them. I can really vouch for their bareroot big roses as being the best mail order roses on the market today. I don't see any reason for the mini's to be any less good than their big roses.
