Min Roses dug up

| Last yr I bought 12 minis..I planted them in pots and they did wonderful. Over the winter, I moved them to the back side of the house and left them alone. They all surived the winter I think.
However I have a foster puppy that has started digging them up. She dug up one pot, I replanted them and set them up where she couldn't get to them. I came in this am to find that she has dug into another one of my pots.
Will they survive the abuse that has happened to them?? I noticed on one that I replanted this morning that it has new shoots coming out on it?
Needless to say, I have moved all pots up high where she can't get to them until I can get some Repel to go in them. I spend way too much money on my yard every year to allow a puppy that's not mine to tear it up.

| Yes, make sure that they are kept watered. But, too many times and some of the roots may be damaged, so keep an eye out. Can you put up some kind of temporary fencing? |

Thanks for the reply...I currently have them on a table where she can't reach them. So hopefully they will make it. I do have a lead on a permanent home for her so keeping fingers and toes crossed..it will work out. My Saint is old enough to know you don't mess with momma's flowers, but she hasn't learned that lessoon yet.. |

| A BIG dose of cayenne - scattered in the digging area - might help. If you have some chicken wire handy, you could also put it around the area and put rocks on top to secure it (I went that route with my DigDog). Cheers, Michelle |
