yellowing leaves of mini rose

I bought two potted mini roses 2 weeks ago, and placed them on south facing window sill. One was doing great, the other has some yellowing leaves that I didnt pay attention at first. Then more leaves turned yellow so I moved it away from the healthy one, afraid that its due to fungus and may be contagious. I sprayed both with anti-fungus just in case. I water them once a week after they dried out (the leaves and flowers became withered looking). I made sure the water drained well each time. However, the healthy one started to have yellow leaves 2 days ago when the soil starts to dry out a little bit. What did I do wrong? Im not sure if its due to too much water, too little water or fungus. All the yellow leaves are at the bottom inside portion of the plant, as if there is not enough sunshine. I put them at the sunniest spot of the entire house. By the way, I plan to plant them on the ground when its warmer. When is it warm enough to do so, ave temp 65?
