It bloomed. This is a good one-Baby Ballerina.

I have the Ballerina, and I was not too happy with it-lost too many leaves and was never a good bloomer here (New Orleans. Hot.)

It was not just me because someone else has it and theirs is lousy too. Well, Ann sent me one. Dang!

Leafy and beautiful, almost a moss rose with the little hairy bits; and the bloom is lovely. It's not a teeny weeny micro bloom, in fact it is roughly the same size as the classic Ballerina bloom with many buds around to make the Hydranga-like cluster; however it is a more intense color than Ballerina (not a minus in my book since everything fades here in the sun.)

The plant looks as spiffy as Mr. Bluebird and that's saying a lot.

just go to Miniatures in the catalog and click Baby Ballerina. It is really a good one. I suppose this rates as a Mini Musk? There can't be too many of those around.
About Mr. Bluebird-I have it, and a small Blue Mist. They look identical. Is it just me, or are they? In appearence at least; I don't know if Blue Mist performs as well yet.

It looks to me like it would work as a climber if trained.
The flowers are dime sized.

Mine is climbing up a birdhouse. VERY healthy, it hasnt bloomed yet. Thorny. Good climber, I twisted it around the birdhouse post. Pretty blooms.
