Mini Rose leaves falling off

Posted by cueboy (My Page) on

I had some mini roses since valentines, and they've been doing very good, flowers, new leaves, I've put some rose fertilizers as well.
Since last week, the leaves started falling off, and the flowers would dry even before the bloom.

Is there a parasite or not enough water? Or they are going dormant at this time of the year?

Thanks,

Where did you purchase your roses from. And are your roses inside or outside? It could be a few things, container is to small or water not draining. This is the time of year all roses are waking up. But I suspect your roses were hot house grown to force them to bloom in Feb.

Not enough light, for one. How much are your watering? It could be too much water. Also, look beneath the leaves, you could have spider mites, which you can rinse off using water in a spray bottle.

Roses kept indoors need a lot of light and humidity. If you room is dry, that could also lead to problems.

Here is a link that might be useful: indoor cultivation of miniature rose...
