Do you think my mini could come back?

Hi everyone, I'm not usually in this section, but I wanted to ask a question.

About a week and a half ago I transplanted four mini shrubs from my front yard to my back yard. Three are doing well, but one of them had the root ball fall apart on me. I've watered and watered but the leaves still curled up and died. They're all crispy now. I don't think I over watered because the others got as much and are doing ok. The canes are still green. I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to save it? I stripped off all the crunchy leaves to bare canes, and I'm considering cutting it down to the roots to see if it can come back up.

Any ideas? Is it time to get the shovel?

Yes, I think they can come back. No, it is not time for the shovel. Sounds like plain old transplant shock. Many roses drop all of their leaves once transplanted. As long as the canes are green, it should be fine. Don't cut off anything, new leaf buds are working away in there. Water, but not too much, you don't want them too saturated. Don't fertilize until you see new growth.

Thanks so much for the information, I'll continue to care for it until it comes back!
