The Green Rose

I'm trying to figure out where to plant this weed, er, um, rose. LOL. I just inherited it and wouldn't look twice at it but I saw it in an arrangement that was all roses, no other materials allowed, and it really added that touch. Can this rose handle a half day in shade location? I've had it in a pot in full sun for several months and it looks sort of washed out.
