I'm new to minis, and I see many of you write that many (or most) of them must be sprayed for blackspot. I'm in coastal Southern California, have had full-sized roses for years and have never had blackspot, just lots of PM. Should I expect to see it on my new minis? What do you spray with?

Well it could be you get PM and we get BS. I rarely see PM. It's a climate thing so I'd just keep doing what you're doing and be happy you don't get BS.

Our experience in Southern CA is what looks like Black Spot is really Anthracnose. Go to: http://www.sactorose.org/ipm/83anthracnose.htm for more information. The treatment for black spot is usually the same for anthracnose though.....
