| I have just purchased my first miniature rose plant. I love it so much, I ordered three more plants last night. I don't really want to put them in the ground outside. This is because I have 3 kids and alot of children that play around our house,I'm worried they won't leave them alone and will kill them. I also know that miniature roses won't do well indoors. My question is, will they do ok in a window box? They will be outside, but high enough up where the kids and animals can't get to them. If I put them outside my kitchen window they will get alot of sun. Does anyone else do this? Does anyone else have any other suggestions? Thanks alot! |

| Depends on the variety, without knowing the names we can't really answer. Minis can get more than 3 feet tall. "Mini" refers to the size of the flower, not the size of the plant. You can grow them in decorative pots, I have a few in plastic faux-terra cotta pots. |
