Where to order; What to order Help!

| Can someone give me some suggestions for a good place to order mini roses?
Also, what to order? I'm open to all suggestions, but if any rose plant has these requirements, please let me know!
Has a fairly compact habit, more spreading than tall (like spreading), nice size flowers.
I really like blends, but am open to all flowers.
I have three Sunblaze and really like them.
Thanks!

| There's a lot of good mini vendors. Nor'East is a good place to start. I highly recommend Bees Knees, Soroptomist International, and Erin Alonso. Good luck and enjoy! |

| I agree with the above suggestions. I would start by browsing the web catalogs at Nor'east & John's Miniature Roses. They have good selections, descriptions, and pictures. Other good sources are The Uncommon Rose, Sequoia Nursery, & Bridges' Mini Roses. The Web address below lists "tons" of on-line nurseries of all types of roses. http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Home_and_Garden/Plants/Shrubs/Roses/ (key search words are "mailorder roses") Some of my favorite minis (and I'm in your type of climate) are Miss Flippins (bright red) Bees' Knees (yellow that blushes deep pink in bright sun) Linville (bushy, prolific white with a blush center) Glowing Amber (red and yellow bicolor) Vista (clear lavender) Hot Tamale (yellow, pink and orange) Liberty Bell (georgious show form rich red blend-larger than most minis--3 in. blooms) Some great-looking new ones I hope to try are Ultimate Pleasure, Caliente, and Ty. |

I would recommend Almost Heaven Roses, Nor'east Mini Roses, Bridges Roses for vendors. I have had good luck with them. Bee's Knees, Soroptimist Int'l, Heather Sproul, Fairhope, Erin Alonso, Memphis King,Buttercream, and Glowing Amber are good mini's. John |

| The uncommon rose is a great place to order. I just ordered three from them. Earthquake climber and two others. They arrived in great shape, even had some blooms on them. The delivery was fast and they were packaged well. |

| What is your height requirement, if I might ask? Some of those already named get to 3'+ here. Great roses, all of them. They all would need spraying for me. And this might sound crazy, but if you can find any of the minis from Poulsen's "Parade" series at your WalMart or Target or HD/Lowes, grocery store, some place like that, those plants are good growers and make excellent shrubs. |
Here is a link that might be useful: Poulsen's Parade Series Roses
