Not sure I'm on the right rose forum, but...

My mother has a pink climbing rose with very small flowers that grow in clumps of 4-5 or more tiny flowers. They are very common as I see them everywhere, but I have no idea what they are called. Probably just wild roses. LOL. The plants are like weeds and grow to 6-8'+. They have small leaves as well. I can't figure out how to post a pic with the description so this is it. I mistakenly thought these were called noisettes, but I believe those are larger flowers. I'm looking for something similar but in yellow to put in my garden. Every pic I look at of small yellow climbing roses only shows a single bloom or a small plant, not a crazy climbing bloom covered plant. Any suggestions of what type of plant I'm looking for? By the way, my mother's roses are over 100 years old per the man that gave them to her. They aren't special but I would like to know what they are called. If you write to me, I can send you a pic of the plant by email. Thanks.

elanalv, you might want to post your question on the Antique Roses forum. This sounds like a similar question posted recently, and you may have a noisette, flowers range in size. There is also a "Rose ID" forum.

If you want to post pictures, try using photobucket.com. Create an account (it is free, they don't spam), upload your pictures. Once you upload, under each photo will be three boxes. Copy all of the text in the box marked "Tag" and paste that line in the "Message:" box here on the forums. Your picture will appear.

I'm here looking at really old postings but I think I know the yellow climber you're looking for. It can grow unchecked up to like 8' tall if I remember, I had one at my old house, I'm just growing one again. It has small leaves and will flower with clusters of small little yellow roses. The web site says it's a climber that will grow 5 to 6', mine grew several feet taller than my 6' fence. It's called "Cal Poly" and is available by the nursery who patented it at: www.sequoianursery.biz
They have pics of each rose but not the whole bush.
