Can these roses survive being planted outside in zone 6?

Yes, they really want to be planted outside they are not houseplants. As long as you have a minimum of 6 hours of sunlight in the area, it will be fine. You'll have to give more information on your location so that we can tell you if you'll need winter protection.

No you won't need to winter protect it. I live in Central Illinois and I never protect my minis and they come thru the winter fine!
