Found a mini in the garden. Where to move?

I think I have a red mini growing on the north side in a part shade area. It has come up below and in between an azalea and hydrangea. I am assuming that the previous owner of the house put it out there not realizing how big the hydrangea would get. I need to move it. Any suggestions on a new home? I've got lots of options around the garden. It is probably 18 inches to 2 feet tall now. I am surprised that it is growing so well in so much shade. Is that where they do best? How much sun can it take?

I'd post a picture of it but I don't know how to do that yet. This is my first post. Thanks a bunch!
