Brown Stains and Yellowing Leaves

I'm completely new to taking care of plants, so any advise would be helpful!

I repotted it two weeks ago into a well draining pot. I used the Miracle-Gro Potting Soil with Moisture Control (feeding up to 6 months) hoping to stop the yellowing leaves, but it's been getting worse. Brown stains have been showing up on the edges, turning the leaves yellow, and eventually killing the leaves.

I have it at a East facing window during the morning and a West facing window in the afternoon. There are also no spider mites. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Is it the potting soil?

Hi, not sure if you are still dealing with this issue or not, but wanted to respond incase it is helpful. The first thing I thought looking at those brown spots was that it was getting burned due to the proximity of the window. Sometimes the window can act like a magnifying glass and burn the leaves in the sun.

Secondly, how is the airflow around the plant? Roses enjoy feeling air on their leaves and it helps to keep them healthy. Sometimes indoors they do not get enough air movement to keep them happy. Many people on this forum will tell you that roses should not be kept in the house, even if they are sold as "indoor" plants. Related to this, the pot it is in is quite probably too small. Depending on where you got it, there may be more than one rose growing in that pot, and it likely needs a much larger space to stretch its roots.
