When I went to the Almost Heaven Roses site this spring they were featuring a new mini, Nancy Jean, which is my name. Has anyone grown it yet?

It is a beautiful rose! The only thing wrong with it is I only have 2 of them!! It grows to mini-flora size for me--both bloom and foliage size. It grows very straight up, however, so that it does not take up an inordinate amount of bed space. the color is gorgeous, especially in the fall when it gets a sort of lavender blush at the edges of the petals. Great show rose, too, since the centers are almost always perfect and hold well.

I have 2 plants of Nancy Jean, it grows really well for me. I love the color of the blooms, it is my favorite color class. I will try to attach a picture of a bloom that won Miniature Queen at our State Fair last year. I tried, but I can't figure out how to do it. If you would like a picture of the bloom, just e-mail me at howardr@bbtel.com and I will send you it to you. Have a good day. Howard
