Spotted Rose

I have some minature roses growing in a pot on my patio. Up to about three weeks ago, the plant was vigorous and gorgeous, with healthy foliage and an abundance of buds. But very quickly, the plant got spotty and lost its healthy look. Below is a photo of it today. Is there any way to salvage this plant this season? What can I do to prevent this from happening again?

RE: Spotted Rose

It looks like your rose has black spot. It is a fungus and can be controled using a good fungiside. I use Bayer disese control but Ortho disese control works just as good. You will loose the affected leaves but they will grow back.
