What are the best miniature roses for cutting to bring inside? My mother is bedridden with lung cancer, and I think mini roses will be wonderful for bringing beauty and joy feelings to her bed side. I have a few minis that I have collected over the past several years, but only two of them seem to be suitable for making mini-bouquets. Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.

I use all of mine for cut roses.......they make delightful little "nosegays" and people just love them. I take them to the hospital whenever a friend is sick and the oohs and aahs are endless. If you only have a couple and they have short stems, insulin bottles make excellent vases or any small container. She will love them.

Hello Roselin,
My mini 'Glowing Amber' has a great color combination with red and yellow and makes beautiful bouquets. It it one of the top five minis in the US. There are lots of photos there too and you can also find where the rose is available.

I ended up ordering too many roses from Nor'East Miniature Roses. 'Glowing Amber'is beautiful! I can't wait to receive it. Wish me luck.

Vashacat, thank you and you are very welcome. I have a rose called Monique that changes colors too, George and it is a bright stunner. Minis make lovely little bouquets and I have to smile at people on the elevator and in the hallways of the hospital that will stop me and ask if they are real and do I grow them in my garden.
