Hi, I just bought 6 very healthy miniature roses from Lowe's for $1 each! 3 Candy Sunblaze and 3 Rosy Minuetto. Each pot has 4 or 5 individual plants in it. I can't decide whether to plant in the ground or large pots- I have 3 that are about 24 in diameter. Does anyone have any recommendations? Also, should I seperate them into individual roses or would it be okay to just plant each pot and let "survival of the fittest" take over? The area that I would be planting them in is in full *hot* sun most of the day, so I would try to shade them for a week or two, and they would get plenty of water, since my other roses are there and I water them daily... Thanks for any suggestions!
