Alfa-Alfa pellets for minis

| Is it ok to use alfa-alfa pellets for minis in pots? How would this be done and how often. Is it a good idea to use these for newly potted minis? |

| A few alfalfa pellets could be used, but make sure they don't contain salt (the ones made to feed rabbits usually do). |

| I dump some of the alfalfa tea sludge on my potted roses (including minis). I can't say what if anything it does for them. They look healthy either way. I personally would not put it on newly potted roses. Cheers,
