I planted two of these climbing roses pot grown on both sides of my entry they both bloomed some on the buds that were on them then they just sit, no new growth one has some browning on the leave tips , I cut it back a little I am new to this area we are arid and it is now 100 they are on the east side so they get some shade in the afternoon I keep checking the soil and have not noticed it was dry I worried about over water anyone grow these?

Hot weather, roses shut down. Not totally, there is root growth, but they shut down top growth. Plus, these are first-year climbers, climbers (or any type) typically need 2 - 3 years to mature. Sounds like you are watering just fine. Do not panic. Be patient.
