First Impression, anyone?

Just got my last Noreast rose order, 7 in all, and they substituted this new bright yellow miniflora for the pink one (Flawless) I had requested. I'm intrigued; decided to just keep it rather than try to change it. The order had 3 other pink blend roses, any my top choices were all in the order.
Can anyone tell me anything about this First Impression rose? I know its a new variety, but some of you seem to have "inside connections." lol Should I be happy with this one?

Mike

Well the first open rose I got from my new plant this year opened my eyes! It has a very tight spiral, light pink color. From the looks of this first bloom, it's a keeper!

Light pink?? The catalog says it is bright yellow.

I'll have to wait and see what mine actually turns out to be, as there is only one little green bud at this point.

First Impression is registered from Jim Sproul. He registered it as a deep yellow floribunda with clusters of 3 inch blooms on a 36-42 inch plant. Something doesn't sound right here. Is everyone talking about the same rose?

First Impression is going gangbusters after being in the ground for 3 mos. I love the largish (2-3") strong yellow flowers on this mini-flora. Also doing well are in terms of growth and flower ouput are Pacific Serenade and Behold.
