I'm new here

Hello, I am new to this forum and happy to find it. I'm, Jo, artist from Tn. (mostly wall murals and greeting cards) My passions are art, my animals (horses/dogs/cats/birds and Koi), flowers and music, recipes and photography.

I am not new to minis, have 4 but even though I really don't do well with most roses, hese have done great! My oldest one is about 15 years old and would grow to 8 or 10 feet I'm sure, but I keep it down to about 7 feet tall. Sometimes I cut it back to about 5 feet. It's a real show-off! The other 3 are fairly new, but getting there.

I am going to read now and see what I can learn about these tiny beauties.I have tons of flowers and plants, but my "big mini" is my favorite thing in my whole yard.

Thanks Deb and Digger. Thanks for the welcome. Your pictures are gorgeous! I have lots of other flowers, but hope to have tons of roses soon. I have painted for 64 years and definitely need a "Little Artist" in my garden. How big does that one get?
Here's my pink Mini that I love(foggy morning) I had trimmed it back some to get a re-bloom. First bloom is prettier.

Welcome to the mini forum Jo. That's a gorgeous pink climber you have. If you can grow that rose like that one, you can grow any rose!

Digger that's a great shot of Little Artist bush and rose, it's outstanding.

LA gets 18 inches to 2 feet tall and wide. It is almost always a nice mound shape. This year it has some canes that shot up and isn't as symmetric as other years.

Your picture of a pink rose is Jeannie Lajoie. I grow about 100 minis and mini floras. If you have any questions fell free to contact me!
