I have a mini rose bush I got from Wal-Mart about a week ago. I repotted, watered and put outside. It has declined ever since. I'm watering once a day and it's getting direct sunlight on my balcony. It's now droopy and brown tinged. What am I doing wrong? (It should be known I don't really have a clue what I'm doing beyond the basics.)

Start here: How to save a potted gift rose. And yes, you could be overwatering, it doesn't need to be soaking wet. It was grown in a greenhouse, and needs to get used to being outside. Make sure there is adequate drainage, no saucer under the plant to hold water.

Well, its a good idea to harden of in the shade for a few days when you repot.
