?black spot on miniature tree rose?

I'm quite familiar with black spot, but am puzzled as to why a miniature tree rose would develop black spot. We did have a period with a fair amt of rain daily, but not so much that the soil was too saturated, imo. None of the other roses in that garden have black spot. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

A lot of varieties of mini's are very prone to black spot. I have had some that got black spot even with a good spray program.

It may just be a variety that is very BS prone and when the conditions are right it thrives. The spores are everywhere and it probably blew in on the wind.
