 o
best way to feed bonemeal

Hello folks! I have a mini rose bush that lives in my grow room and would like to feed her some bonemeal, but the directions are not very clear on how much I can use or if I can mix it with water to apply it or what. Also I don't know how often to feed. Any help would make my little plant very happy! Thanks in advance.

I don't think mixing it with water and adding is the way to go. Also, FYI - triple superphosphate is a better source of phosphorus than bone meal. Plants can absorb it better. I'd use a tablespoon yearly in the spring.

You can either sprinkle it around the base of the plant at the drip line and scratch it in, or you can poke three or four holes down a few inches and put a teaspoon in each. The roots will find it.
