 o
question about Michel Cholet

I'm just a lurker on here but I was wondering exactly how do you pronounce this one? I know it may sound silly but it's important. Is it pronounced like "Michelle" Cholet or is it "Michael" Cholet. I have asked a few people and they weren't sure. I'm looking for a Michael. I have a Jessica Rose for my dd and now I need a Michael for my son. Thanks :)

Even though it's pronounced like Michelle, I think Michel is the French counterpart for the man's name Michael.

Below is a link to HelpMeFind listing of some rose names containing "Michael." Click on the name for the description of the rose and the tabs on the page for more information:

RE: question about Michel Cholet

I believe the miniature is Michael Cholet not Michel Cholet. I have it and I bought it for my own son Michael. It's absolutely beautiful, though a little slow to start.

The correct spelling is definitely Michel Cholet.

Not many choices for Michael.

Mi-shell Show-lay is the proper french pronunciation...

If you're looking for a Michael, there is a miniature rose called Baby Michael.

Thanks for clarifying how to pronounce it :)

RE: question about Michel Cholet

MC is my favorite mini because of the beautiful apricot color. A breeder told me it was pronounced "Mi Shell", like decobug says. Gorgeous rose!
