Why has the color of my blooms changed?

Hi everyone. I received a potted grocery store mini last fall as a house warming gift and there were 4 plants in one pot. Only 1 made it through the winter (just barely) and when the frost was gone I repotted it and moved it outside. It slowly began to grow and has had a couple of blossoms over the last two months. I've battled powdery mildew on these and another mini I have earlier this summer and it really damaged some of the leaves until I learned about fungicides (I'm new to roses). In the past few weeks my mini has thrived and so I just planted it in the ground and now it has blossomed again. This time the blossom is a different color though. The first couple of blooms were a very pretty pale yellow and were small. This time the bloom is bigger and is more of a cream color. Is it normal for the blooms on the same plant to be different colors? Also, do anyone know what kind of rose it is? Thanks.
