Tiddly Winks -not happy

Has anyone had any luck growing Tiddly Winks? I bought it potted. It is a mature plant. It was so healthy "looking". After replanting into a bed it has been a miserable little guy. Leaves brown and falling off. No buds. Ugly new growth. No other rose in the bed is going through this. Is this normal? I thought it was a high ranking mini.

Tiddly Winks is a relatively new mini that has never received a rating through Roses in Review. It is on the survey this year for the first time. So, no, it isn't a high ranking mini - at least not yet. We'll see how it does over the next three years while it is on the survey.

Hi Phil Schorr,
Well thank you for filling me in. I have no idea where I got that idea. I will keep working with TW and see how it does. When it was healthy it was a pretty bush. Nice round shape and nice glossy foliage and lots of blooms and new ones coming along. Started looking bad but came around for the second flush. I did expected it to be more of a continuing bloom machine the way it initially progressed. I guess we will see.
Are you growing it?

No, I'm afraid not. I just don't have any more room in places that get any sun. I have 80 or 90 minis and that's about all I can fit in.

Hi Decobug,
I planted it in May.
