Due to certain circumstances, I do not have the same amount of time or energy to spend with my roses. As a result, I'm looking for a more efficient way of maintaining my minis.

I've always noticed that my minis get tons and tons of roses, which I really enjoy. However, it takes forever to cut the dead buds off of them. Also, I've noticed that the dead buds seem to fall off and are quickly replaced with new flowers if I don't remove them. I've also noticed that some of my minis, due to the same growth, seem to quickly get out of shape. I was thinking, instead of picking off each bud, why don't I take some hedge trimmers to my minis every so often and gently shape them up. Please provide me with some feed back on this. thanks.
