Poor half-dead pretty tiny roses...in need of a rescue!

My local grocery store has a small floral department, and while I was there tonight, I spied some of the most beautiful teeny tiny roses in cups for sale...and it just about broke my heart!

These poor little babies were nearly dead and the soil around them was dry as a bone! There was a pretty purple one and a peachy one with green tips on the flowers.

I'm thinking of calling the floral manager tomorrow and asking if I could take them off her hands for a good price...I feel the need to rescue them, but not at 12.99 a piece! She could even keep the "ugly" cups they were planted in!

Well.... how did you make out with the roses. Rescue any? at a good price?

Just got back from the store...the floral manager let me have 11 of the poor things for $1 each! Woohoo!

Now, to see if I can save the dears... any suggestions on reviving them??? I'll post a photo of them in a little while.

I told the manager (she was a young girl) that if she ever had any more she needed to be rescued, to call me!
