| I saved this rose from oblivion a few years ago.
I found it sitting in a container filled with foul water and appeared to have been that way for a long time. I re-potted it, put it in my plant hospital and then forgot about it. Little by little it recovered and turned into a spectacular little mini rose plant.
I would like to know its name if possible. It blooms both singly and in large trusses.

Yes, Sharon, it DOES have the look of Marriotta. I grow that one also. The blooms on this rose are considerably larger and come in huge clusters. If its a McGredy rose I don't recognize it. Danty

Hi Lynn, That is a very close match! Unless I find any other candidates I think I'm going to say the rose is Adam's Smile. So now I have two smiles, Adam's and yours, Lynn Danty

Oh that does look like it! Great find, Lyn!

How large are the blooms? Check out all the photos of "Old Master." I almost wonder if it could be a match since you do have the Cali sun and soil. Perhaps that took some of the darkness out of the coloring.

'Old Master' is definately a floribunda with blooms in clusters at are around 4 to 4.5" average width. It certainly is not a mini, but has been used as a parent to may miniature roses. Smiles,
