| I am in Zone-6 near Philadelphia. When should my last slow-release fertilizer be put into container grown mini? Thank you for advice. |

| You're done. Last fertilizing should have been two weeks ago. 6 weeks before first frost. |

I push my roses to a bitter ending here each type of rose grows differently Example my climbers arenot going to bloom any more but they still show new leaf growth however there fertilizing ended first week of sept. My Ht's however are showing buds for a final round as I type as well the minis and as such as is the carpet roses and yes even the floribunda has a small amount of buds left and yes altho not the most popular consences I do fert mine under nice growing conditions such as these if needed ( they also got fert in sept.) regardless of what the general consences reccomends However Sept is the final push for me if you chose the first week of the month to fert then no need to puch again in October I prep em up for winter and kiss em good bye untill march. |
