Wintering my container roses.

| A friend gave me two large containers with mini-roses this summer when she moved. They are blooming beautifully and I'd hate to lose them next year.
Will they survive the winter here in CT (zone 5b)? What can I do to save them for next year? I don't have anywhere indoors to keep them, other than an unheated shed. |

| see the thread "survive winter in zone 6a" - I would think it would be applicable in zone 5b as well. |
