overnight scentsation as a hedge

What would you think of using overnight scentsation as a hedge across 20+ foot fence? If not, any other rose for a suggestion--or should I just stick to mock orange...Which, in your opinion, would work better?
Thanks,
Lee

Hopefully Mike in New Orleans (I think he grows it) will post. In my zone, it's not a big rose after two seasons but it blooms profusely and the blooms are very pretty in form. They last a long time, too. I really like this little rose!

How tall of a hedge are you wanting? I would think Mock Orange would be much taller.

Cheers,
Michelle

Hi, michelle co, thank you so much for answering. I hope that mike in new orleans will post...but anyway, here in Hawaii (Oahu, in particular), the roses grow/grew to about 6 feet tall in three years 'till my sister came over and hacked them down--a little. I guess I was looking for a hedge that would be around 8 feet or taller...I think your right--the mock orange!
